Pseudo DNA Cryptography Technique using OTP Key for Secure Data Transfer
In the present era, with the increase in innovation of information technology, information security (InfoSec) is an important topic
because threat of data security increases exponentially. Security of data is genuine concern and there are sundry customers and
associations who require keeping their crucial data from unwarranted persons and attackers.
There is various cryptography
systems are proposed in past years. DNA cryptography is a new emerging field which is amalgamation of two domains viz,
computational and biological domain. Feature of DNA; large storing capacity, secured data transfer and enormous parallel
processing makes DNA cryptography is more interesting.
We focus on first relative study of existing DNA
cryptography methods and then proposed a new pseudo DNA cryptography technique. New proposed pseudo DNA cryptography
technique provides three level of security as we used biological process (DNA complementary rule), arithmetic operation (XOR
operation), and OTP scheme (random key is shared between sender and recipient) in this technique. This proposed technique is
more secure for data transfer over the internet as the actual data never transmitted openly.
